As the calendar speeds through the first quarter of 2023, the world of technology continues to advance at an even more blinding rate. What many experts can only believe will be the “new normal” has allowed tech industry manufacturers to release new products that were held in stasis during the pandemic shutdowns. By doing so, buyers for most of 2022 and early this year have enjoyed a gradual return to normalizing stock and shipping issues and a steady stream of new ways to enhance lifestyles while increasing productivity. For those of us fortunate enough to be directly involved with the tech industry, that rapid influx to market can present a challenge in terms of new product awareness and training, a challenge we graciously accept at Beverly Hills SMART. 2022 was by far our best year of sales in our twenty-three-year company history, and with our schedule constantly expanding, we believe 2023 will be an even better year for us.

Since our company was founded, our focus is on providing the most luxurious, artistic, and bespoke solutions to our clients, whether from the residential/estate, yacht, corporate, retail, or restaurant/bar verticals. There is, of course, a lot of valid concern regarding economic recession across all of those verticals after a lengthy period of inflation.

What highlights do we expect to see this year? We see an ever-increasing presence of IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity. The ability to control every powered element of your home or business, particularly through voice control, leads to exciting and efficient ways to allow you to integrate with your space(s). Luxury products continue to iterate. A few of our most popular areas of interest include Reflectel MirrorTV, Screen Innovations Zen2 outdoor motorized shades, L'Acoustics Creations Sky and Tahiti speaker packages, the incomparable CSEED N1 motorized, unfolding outdoor TV, The LEON Horizon Soundbar Series, the Kaleidescape Terra Series of dedicated movie servers and players, and last but not least the terrific Rosewater Hub Home Energy Management and Power Storage Systems

This year, visual recognition is also an area of great interest, allowing homeowners and business owners to configure routines and scenes for lighting, climate control, and audio/video based on detected movement and recognition of familiar faces. The other significant and relevant aspect of visual products is enhanced security. Beverly Hills is already one of the most protected cities in the world regarding the sheer number of security cameras per square mile. Yet, the type and functionality of the cameras can drastically impact their performance when it truly matters.

Choose a veteran Integration firm that knows the entire industry and products therein and can confidently direct you to the best product for the task at hand, as no two applications are the same. We are certainly here to assist you.
