Meet Our Newest Citizen Police Academy Graduates

The 2023 Spring Citizen Police Academy in Beverly Hills celebrated its latest batch of graduates on May 11, 2023, at the picturesque Greystone Mansion and Gardens. The ceremony was led by Police Chief Mark Stainbrook and Sergeant Jeffrey Newman. Since its inception in 2015, the CPA has aimed to foster trust and communication between the police and the community through an inside look into law enforcement. Participants engage in hands-on experiences, gain insight into police policies, procedures, and training, and have opportunities to interact with specialized units such as K9, SWAT, and Detectives. The CPA also offers the unique chance to participate in officer ride-alongs. The Academy's approach to education provides the community with experiences and knowledge often inaccessible to the public, thus creating a well-informed and engaged community.
