Healing House at SLS Hotel Beverly Hills
Artist and energy healer Britt Michaelian debuts her art and wellness event Healing House at SLS Hotel Beverly Hills on May 19, 2024, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. Michaelian will present 20 new paintings in an exhibition, co-curated by Frederick Janka and Wienholt Projects, alongside guided energy healing modalities, including meditations, reiki group healing, sound bathes and a sacred tea ceremony.
Healing House is an annual art and wellness event in which Michaelian and guests co-create a guided visualization, experience the sensations of innovative art, receive healing, and celebrate gratitude through a variety of energy healing modalities. Healing House serves as an introduction to a growing movement in energy healing and stimulating one’s energetic body to find balance, with Michaelian becoming a leading voice in the intersection between energy healing and art.

With a background in art therapy, studying art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and working with recovering patients, Michaelian’s unique work centers healing as a daily practice and integral part of creativity. Amongst her other certifications, Michaelian is a Usui and Karuna Ki Reiki master teacher and BQH quantum healing hypnosis practitioner.
Michaelian will exhibit 20 abstract paintings that combine practices like reiki, quantum healing, sound bathes, as well as sacred rituals and materials, many of which are natural, like powdered crystals and non-toxic plant-based acrylics.
This year’s Healing House will take place at SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, voted #1 hotel in Los Angeles by Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2023. Guests will receive a free gift bag followed by several healing modalities, including healing frequency sound, sound bathes with crystal sound bowls, meditation and group reiki healing, a disco dance party, nourishing refreshments, and a gratitude tea ceremony. Marcello Shriman of the Akhanda Institute in Rishikesh, India will lead a meditation for healing. Holistic mental and emotional health digital studio WellSet, a sponsor of this year’s Healing House, will be providing each guest a month of access to the WellSet app. Michaelian will also host an interview with Jesse Stirling, host and producer of “Meetings with Remarkable People.” Kelly Noonan Gores, director of the documentary film Heal and author of Heal: Discover Your Unlimited Potential and Awaken the Powerful Healer Within, will be recording an interview with Michaelian for an episode of her podcast live at Healing House.
