Andrea Bowers is a Los Angeles based artist whose work combines contemporary forms and dimensions with calls of advocacy and activism. The exhibit pulls together 60 of Bowers’ pieces to showcase her documentation of contemporary history through a wide variety of artistic mediums including drawings, installations, sculpture and more. Her focus in each piece tackles a different social issue from climate concerns, to women’s rights, to immigration and workers rights, an outstanding and resounding call for justice ties the exhibit together in a harmonious way.
