Drawing Down the Moon


This Hammer Museum exhibition showcases a vast collection of artworks and art forms depicting the moon. The symbolic importance of the moon is significant, throughout history and across cultures. The moon has guided life from its very beginning and has always been a mysterious and ethereal force. Artists depict the beautiful wonder of the moon in this collective exhibit that features works from antiquity to the present.

Exhibit hours 11am-6pm, entry is free
