"Success is making a meaningful impact in the lives of others and contributing positively to the community," says Dela Peykar Ronen, a private wealth planning attorney who balances a demanding career with active involvement in her children's school and community. Nominated for her work with the Beverly Hills Education Foundation and her role on the Executive Board of the Fiduciary Committee of CCIM Greater Los Angeles, Dela excels both professionally and personally.

Dela's journey in law began with a passion for helping families secure their futures. "One pivotal moment in my career was deciding to start my own law firm. It allowed me to dedicate myself fully to estate planning and providing personalized services to my clients." This decision, though challenging, was incredibly rewarding and taught her the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and leadership.

Despite her professional demeanor, something that might surprise people about Dela is her playful side. "I love engaging in creative activities with my three young daughters. Whether it's crafting, storytelling, or planning fun family outings, I find ways to nurture their creativity and imagination."

At the top of Dela's bucket list is taking her family on an extended trip around the world. "Experiencing different cultures and environments is invaluable for broadening one's perspective.” This goal aligns with her desire to foster a deeper appreciation for the diversity and beauty of our planet.

Dela draws inspiration from the incredible sense of community in Beverly Hills. "The way residents come together to give back is truly inspiring. The numerous opportunities to participate in community events and support local causes create a strong, cohesive environment where everyone feels connected."

Her advice for those starting out in estate planning is simple: "Prioritize empathy and active listening. Understanding your client's needs and building trust is crucial. Strong, genuine relationships lead to better outcomes for clients and a more fulfilling career.”
