A star-studded rebirth, beloved Beverly Hills institution, La Dolce Vita, has reopened its doors. Established in 1966 and frequently visited by Hollywood stars and ex-presidents, the restaurant was temporarily shuttered in 2020. New owners Marc Rose and Med Abrous, known for preserving iconic eateries, have retained the classic charm of La Dolce Vita while introducing contemporary touches. Interior designer Victoria Gillet has revamped the intimate 75-seat space, adding modern details while respecting the original layout. The menu, helmed by executive chef Nick Russo, blends classic Italian-American fare with fresh Californian ingredients. The owners hope to attract both old patrons and a new generation of diners to the rejuvenated La Dolce Vita.

This chic coffee haven offers signature drinks that reflect its unique flair. Try the "Gold Digger," a Dirty Turmeric concoction that symbolizes hard work and inner growth. Taste the "Mean Girl," an Iced Pink Chai that strikes a balance between self-respect and kindness. Sip on the "Money Maker," a Rose Matcha blend that combines caffeine, antioxidants, and motivation. "We're excited for this expansion, especially in my hometown of Beverly Hills," shares founder Chantel Khorsandi. Here, the coffee brings you in, and the vibe makes you stay.

After a two-year hiatus, the Michelin two-star Somni is poised for a captivating comeback. Chef Aitor Zabala, the creative mastermind who never left LA, secured the rights to Somni after its closure during the pandemic. Breaking away from José Andrés' ThinkFoodGroup, Zabala dedicated his time to meticulously prepare for a grand revival of Somni coming summer 2023. The new iteration will occupy a larger space in West Hollywood, serving 14 diners a night. The menu will feature Zabala's signature blend of wild creativity and technical proficiency, drawing on inspirations from his time at El Bulli, his upbringing in Barcelona, and his life in Southern California. Stay tuned for their official opening date.
